Keoni Bactad
Keoni is a second-year student at Cal Poly Pomona as a Civil Engineering major with emphasis on Geospatial Engineering. As this year's secretary he plans on finding ways to connect the student body with industry professionals. He is a Southern California native born and raised in the Inland Empire. He became interested in surveying through the history of the profession and through modern surveying technology. Keoni plans on becoming a duel-licensed Civil Engineer and Land Surveyor. He hopes to gain more knowledge through professional organizations such as CLSA and ASCE outside of the classroom. Over the summer he interned at Calvada Surveying Inc, located in Corona, California. He is excited to share his passion for surveying with others and learn more about the profession during the school year.
