ABOUT US
Established in 1966, the California Land Surveyors Association (CLSA) strives to promote the welfare of the Land Surveying profession. Its objectives include upholding the standards of professional ethics and performance, and promoting consistency in methods and protocols, and encouraging public trust in and understanding of Land Surveyors.

There are many occasions to learn about the industry. Guest speakers from various companies are present at our bi-weekly meetings. The possibility for hands-on learning is also present through involvement in our competitions.

Conferences & Networking
Our various events provide the opportunity to meet industry professionals, students from other campuses, and civil engineering professors. This includes the CLSA CPP Geomatics Conference, CLSA State Conference, and the Pacific Southwest Symposium (PSWS).
Competitions
The Pacific Southwest Symposium (PSWS) is an annual event that takes place every April. We participate in the surveying competition and contest against various other schools. This 4-day event provides numerous networking opportunities and social events.
