Victoria Sandoval Rios, LSIT

Victoria Sandoval Rios is a second-year transfer student at Cal Poly Pomona pursuing the Geospatial Engineering option in Civil Engineering. She discovered her passion for land surveying after taking her first Surveying class and has loved it ever since, inspiring her to transition from construction management into geospatial engineering. Currently, she serves as the Publicity Chair for the CLSA CPP Student Chapter and is an active member of the Riverside/San Bernardino CLSA Professional Chapter. She is also interning with Riverside County’s Geodetic Department under County Surveyor David McMillan, alongside other notable Professional Land Surveyors such as Chu Kow and Tim Rayburn. Victoria has obtained her Land Surveyor-in-Training (LSIT) certification and is currently working on obtaining her FAA Part 107 UAS license, with a dedication to advancing her skills in surveying, geospatial technologies, and drone applications as she works toward a future career in land surveying.
