Rena Li is a 5th year at Cal Poly Pomona studying Civil Engineering with a Geospatial Option, minor in Geographic information system. She currently interns with the DRC Engineering in the mapping department and has worked with the City of Santa Ana, CIP Department, Irvine Ranch Water District, as an intern. During her internship, Rena has assisted in creating ALTA Surveys, Topographic Surveys, Parcel Maps, Tract Maps, Lot Line Adjustments, Boundary Surveys, etc. She also helped research project location and compile all project site information. In addition, the geospatial courses and senior project have developed her surveying skills using technology and software, such as MicroStation, Civil 3D, Total Station, Trimble, Virtual Surveyor, Context Capture, ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap etc. She is hoping to get an entry-level job and become a dual license engineer and pass her EIT and LSIT exams.
