Chanse is a fourth year student studying Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Geospatial Engineering. As this year’s President, she is excited to meet new and familiar faces, and promoting the surveying profession to her fellow peers. Chanse originally started off in the Environmental Engineering option, but made the switch to Geospatial Engineering after taking her first surveying course and lab at Cal Poly Pomona. Despite the sunburns and SoCal heat, she is enthusiastic in her new chosen path and is currently working at Calvada Surveying Inc. as a Survey Technician Intern. Chanse hopes that she can help inspire others to find fun and inspiration during their time here at Cal Poly Pomona, the same way others had done for her.
